AC Saves the Sunset Series
The Sunset Series, featuring regional/national acts weekly in Owensboro, KY, had reached a place where the city had considered pulling the plug. "If you guys don't have atleast 1500 people at the show (there were less than 200 people the previous week), the city will have to cancel the Sunset Series for good" (Heath Eric - director).

Well, nothing to fear! Thanks to the awesome AC-heads in Kentucky, August Christopher brought over 2000 people alone and had a memorable three-man 3 hour all-original show that TORE THE HOUSE DOWN! The Sunset Series lives on!

Criss, being one of the only acts to have performed at the marathon every year it's existed, performed at the 4th stage (17th Ave and Chet Atkins) April 26. "It's absolutely AMAZING to see 25,000 runners all at one time. It's a beautiful sea of people and is breathtaking!"

In an effort to promote the marathon, the Nashville Sports Council and New Balance have teamed up and created a compilation CD. AC songs STAR and INSIDE HER HEAD have been chosen for the compilation, which should be out very soon. We will keep you posted as more information unfolds.

Criss Plays Drums for Queen City Romance, Breaks 2 Snare Drums in 6 Songs!

At the 2008 BBQ Fest, AC headlined with Queen City Romance opening. Many people were surprised to see Criss playing drums for the band, but the truth is he's done several shows with QCR and is even featured in the band's upcoming video "Security Checkpoint"

Be sure and look for the new video from a great, new original rock band. Luckily, several bands performed that night, including "Kaptain Crunch" and "The Anythings", so when Criss blew through 2 different snare drums during the 45-minute performance, more drums were around to finish the set!!!
